Play It by Ear, a non profit arts advocacy organization, and Artists on the Brink, a division of University Union, co-sponsored a Haiti Relief Bene

fit concert at the Funk ‘N’ Waffles on Friday, January 29. Comedian Davis Haynes hosted the event, where 10 artists performed throughout the night.

The musicians included Aaron Gittleman, Liz Lewis with Lucas Sacks, Stephen Babcock, Erica Scarano, Luke Wygodny, New Relic from SUNY Cortland and Drink Up Buttercup, a band based in New York City.

About 200 students braved the cold Syracuse night to contribute to the relief cause. All the proceeds are going to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, where the money will go directly to relief efforts in Haiti.
