DanceWorks rocked Syracuse University for three nights during their 24th annual showcase. DanceWorks, founded in 1986, is the largest club sport at SU. With over 100 dancers, the organization practices jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, and many other styles. The “Rocking Syracuse” performances tied together the (Read More) different styles of dance with popular rock songs from Aerosmith, Michael Jackson, and the Rolling Stones.
Each act was different than the last, ranging from a passionate love story to the struggle of breast cancer. The energy was high throughout the two acts, and judging by the screams from the audience, the packed auditorium felt the energy as well.
